Meitheal ~ A Gathering
Meitheal is the Irish word for a gathering. And yet, like many indigenous languages, it has multiple meanings.
Meitheal is a way of coming together in community to plant, weave, harvest and celebrate. To support eachother in work and play in mutual co-operation.
It’s an ancient expression of the spirit that upholds community in a natural, organic way by bringing us closer to pure harmonious ways of living that are innately familiar to us.
In the resurrection of the Irish Wisdom School, we also are resurrecting the ancient knowing of the meitheal as a means of co-creating the new support systems to bring each other’s individual and collective soul missions forward to ground into new earth.

Winter Solstice 2024
~ Alchemising dark and light at Sí an Bhrú in the Newgrange complex ~
This global gathering celebrates the season of Winter Solstice as we descend into the darkest time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, into the great womb of the mother, in order to be born anew. The sacred landscape of Éiriú are so very supportive as this grand spectacle is reenacted every year for over 5,000 years at Sí an Bhrú in the Brú na Bóinne/Newgrange complex. The great sun god Dagda reunites in divine union with his beloved goddess Bóinn. Their sacred union causes the sun to stand still in the sky.

The ancient crone mother, the Cailleach Witch steps forth to overlight this event. For she is the creator of the Celtic lands. With fierce kindness, she calls on us to strip away our lies. To turn towards all that we fear. To rise up and return to her stone throne and reclaim our true seat of power once again. She walks with you. She always has and always will.
The Cailleach is calling. Will you listen?
When civilizations such as Atlantis fell, many of us departed to other realms, becoming separated from our soul truth and original source wisdom. Persecution pursued us and power was wielded over us in our Witch, Magdalene, Essene, Cathar, Druidic and Indigenous communities. Embedding trauma for millennia to come.

Meet your summit host and creator:
Eimear Stassin
Eimear is a Seanachaí (Shan-a-key)/ an Irish sacred storyteller.
Through her evolving work, she carries on the traditions of her Irish lineages as story weaver, poet and crafter of the true lore.
In Irish Mythology, Eimear is the wife of warrior Cú Chulainn. Through the mythology, Eimear is said to possess the six gifts of womanhood. This is something Eimear is rediscovering within herself!
After graduating with a Masters in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin, she enjoyed a 20 year career in Corporate Financial Services. In 2004 she took an internal career change into Corporate Training. A move which planted the seeds for her future entrepreneurial calling.
At the time of Bealtaine 2017, she finally listened to the tug of her soul (and the whispers of the witches) to seek nourishment and expansion out with Corporate and dove head first into Entrepreneurship.
Eimear’s mission is to walk the sacred lands to which she feels called; to activate the true stories rooted in the landscape and to share these stories. She invites people to journey deep into their inner landscape to remember their soul song once again.
In shining her divine light, Eimear supports others to return home to the truth of who they are. She holds the torch for divine peace, equilibrium and harmony to reign as our ancient gifts come back online.
In 2024 Eimear founded The Irish Wisdom School. A space where the voice of Ireland and the voices of the ancestors can be shared freely now.
Eimear is from Dublin, Ireland and lives in Falkirk, Scotland with her husband, 3 Teens and Border Collie dog called Riley.
